GLB Studio Pro

Tools shaped by 3D work.
GLB Studio Pro started as a set of personal utilities I developed to solve recurring workflow bottlenecks in my own day-to-day 3D work. I needed a fast, reliable way to inspect GLB files, double-check materials, and prep assets before sending them off to clients without constantly reopening heavy 3D software. Once the tools were up and running, I decided to make the entire toolkit available for free right here on the website so other 3D artists and clients could easily review and prep their models directly in the browser.
Scene inspection and practical utilities
At the core of the toolkit is an interactive GLB Viewer designed for thorough scene, geometry, material, and texture inspection. Alongside the viewer, I built a suite of companion 3D Tools that handle the practical steps between creating an asset and delivering it:
- GLB Packer & Unpacker: For quickly bundling assets into a single GLB file or extracting embedded textures and data.
- GLB to USDZ: A straightforward converter for preparing 3D models for Apple AR and iOS workflows.
- GLB to Video: A quick way to generate clean turntable presentation videos directly from a 3D file.
- PBR Map Generator & Image Resizer/Converter: Handy utilities for deriving PBR maps from images and optimizing texture resolutions and formats for web delivery.
Workflow guides and best practices
To make the toolkit even more useful, I wrote a series of practical articles and guides on the site. They cover the "why" and "how" behind each tool—walking artists and clients through when to use specific workflows, how to optimize web-ready 3D assets, and what common export pitfalls to watch out for during delivery.
The process behind the project
What I enjoyed most about building this toolkit was turning repetitive, time-consuming technical steps into simple browser utilities that take seconds to use. Sharing these tools for free and knowing they help both fellow artists and clients inspect, convert, and review 3D work more smoothly has been a really rewarding side of running the studio.
